Sample Collection and Shipment

With a national collection network of 260 Patient Service Centres and approximately 300 mobile collection nurses, LifeLabs makes it convenient to have specimens collected.  Your specimen collection kit contains everything require to collect and ship your patient’s sample.

Analysis

All assays are performed in Athena’s licensed laboratory located in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Results Reporting

Turn around time for results vary on a test-by-test basis.  The turn around time for most tests is approximately 14-21 days.  Results will be provided by fax and followed up by mail with a hard copy of the report.
